For the birds

Yesterday, I noticed that a house wren has taken up residence behind my shovel and in front of my garden rake in the tool rack in my garage.  My first clue was all the “debris” on the wall when I went out yesterday to do some yard work (1st picture below).  Then I saw one of the parents peeking out at me in the second image.  I’m hoping the two eggs in there hatch and move on before I really need those tools.  They’re certainly opportunistic little birds!

Last year on Facebook, I briefly wrote about two different visits from neighborhood hawk.  I’m still not quite sure if it is a Cooper’s Hawk (rare in Georgia) or some other species.  Feedback is welcome.
