Chris Harrow has been teaching mathematics since 1990 and is the Mathematics Chair at the Hawken School, effective Fall 2013.  His professional interests center around expanding student interest in STEM careers and in the appropriate uses of technology (especially computer algebra systems (CAS) and tablets) to enhance student learning.

These pages are dedicated to providing CAS, technology, & STEM resources, commentary, and discussion on pre-collegiate STEM topics, and other miscellaneous musings on my daughters’ education, nature, and anything else that strikes me.

I am the co-author of a PreCalculus textbook and PreCalculus Transformed, a ‘blog with offerings of what we hope are more uncommon high school math problems and student solutions.  I also contributed CAS content and activities to the 3rd edition of Paul Foerster’s Precalculus with Trigonometry.
